Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is a global, independent association of the world’s leading life insurance and financial services professionals from more than 500 companies in 70 nations and territories.
MDRT members demonstrate exceptional professional knowledge, strict ethical conduct and outstanding client service.
For the purpose of applicable data protection legislation, the data controller of your personal information is Million Dollar Round Table.

How we collect information from you
We obtain information about you when you use our Services such as when you join our organization, contact us about products and services, make a purchase or donation, or leave comments on any of our websites or mobile applications.
What type of information we collect from you
There is a range of information we need to collect about you so that we may serve our members and visitors. This information may include:
Information You Give Us. We collect information provided through our Services which may include name, address, company, and production information. If you provide it, we also collect information about your business and expertise, languages you speak/read, and goals for the months and year ahead.
Information We Get From Others. We may get information about you from other sources. For example, companies you work with may provide us with verification of production for the year. We will receive information about grants you have applied for and orders you have made through our meeting registration vendors and store affiliates.
Information Automatically Collected. We automatically log information about you and your device. For example, our websites log your IP address, operating system type, browser type, the referring website, pages you viewed, and access times. We also collect information about actions you take when using our sites, such as authors you follow, comments you make on posted materials, and the resources you have viewed and liked.

What do we do with this information
MDRT processes Personal Data collected through the Services on the lawful basis of legitimate interests to provide the Services to you. Such processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by MDRT or by our Service Providers related to the Services.
We use the information we collect in the following ways:
- To operate, maintain, and improve our services.
- To create your account, identify you as a user and/or member, and customize your experience.
- To send you information regarding your membership, content related to the financial industry, and promotional communications. These may include your membership status, meeting information, MDRT goods and services, or sales ideas. - To send you administrative communications. These may include administrative emails, confirmations, technical notices, updates, and security alerts.
- To respond to your comments and questions and provide you with support.
- To track and measure MDRT’s efforts and the effectiveness of such efforts.
- To process your payments for membership, registrations, donations, products or other services initiated by you.
- To protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
How we share this information
It is MDRT’s policy not to share, sell or rent your personal information with third parties.

Our Service Providers. MDRT works with various organizations and individuals to help provide the Services to you (“Service Providers “), such as website and data hosting companies and companies providing analytics information, like Google Analytics. We may share your personal information with our Service Providers for the purpose of providing the Services. The information we share to our Service Providers may include both information you provide to us and information we collect about you, including Personal Data and information from data collection tools like cookies, web beacons, log files, Unique Identifiers, and location data. MDRT takes reasonable steps to ensure that our Service Providers are obligated to reasonably protect your information on MDRT’s behalf. If MDRT becomes aware that a Service Provider is using or disclosing information improperly, we will take commercially reasonable steps to end or correct such improper use or disclosure.
Business Transactions. MDRT may purchase other businesses or their assets, sell our business assets, or be involved in a bankruptcy, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets (a “Business Transaction”). Anonymous data
When we use the term "anonymous data," we are referring to data and information that does not permit you to be identified or identifiable, either alone or when combined with any other information available to a third party.

Information that is visible to other members
Members of MDRT may search for and find contact information on other members of the organization through our directory. Information includes name, preferred name, company, title, address, email, phone and fax numbers, MDRT achievement level, status, and total MDRT membership years.

Your Rights and Choices Regarding Your Information. Relevant data protection laws provide you with certain rights regarding the protection of your data, including:

- the right to restrict processing;
- the right to object to processing;

MDRT welcomes you to contact us regarding the information we have collected about you, including regarding the nature and accuracy of the data that has been collected about you, to request an update, modification, or deletion of your information, to opt-out of certain Services uses of your information, or to withdraw any consent you may have granted to MDRT.
Access. You can access the information we hold about you at any time by viewing your profile on www.mdrt.org or by contacting us directly.
Amend. You can also contact us to update or correct any inaccuracies in your personal information.
Opt-out. You can contact us any time to opt-out of (a) MDRT promotional communications or (b) any new processing of your personal information that we may carry out beyond the original purpose. Please note that your use of some of the services found on our websites or apps may be ineffective upon opt-out. However, please note you may not opt out of Services-related communications, such as account verification, changes or updates to features of the Services, or technical and security notices.
Please note requests to delete or remove your information do not necessarily ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information posted and removed information may persist in backup copies indefinitely.
We may store the information we collect about you indefinitely, or as otherwise required by law. Following termination or deactivation of a MDRT Account, MDRT may retain your information and content for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, and audit purposes.
If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us. In your request, please make clear (a) what personal information is concerned, and (b) which of the above rights you would like to enforce. For your protection, we may only implement requests with respect to the personal information associated with the email address that you use to send us your request, and we may need to verify your identity before implementing your request. We will try to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
Please note that we may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes and/or to complete any transactions that you began prior to requesting the change or deletion unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (for example, for regulatory purposes).
Do Not Track. MDRT does not currently employ a process for automatically responding to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals sent by web browsers, mobile devices, or other mechanisms. Per industry standards, third parties may be able to collect information, including Personal Data, about your online activities over time and across different websites or online services when you use Services. You may opt out of online behavioral ads at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. You also may limit certain tracking by disabling cookies in your web browser.
Information Security. MDRT takes reasonable efforts to secure and protect the privacy, accuracy, and reliability of your information and to protect it from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. MDRT implements security measures that we deem appropriate and consistent with industry standards. As no data security protocol is impenetrable, MDRT cannot guarantee the security of our systems or databases, nor can we guarantee that personal information we collect about you will not be breached, intercepted, destroyed, accessed, or otherwise disclosed without authorization. Accordingly, any information you transfer to or from Services is provided at your own risk.
Please do your part to help us keep your information secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and MDRT account and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or MDRT account. MDRT specifically reserves the right to terminate your access to the Services and any contract you have with MDRT related to the Services in the event it learns or suspects you have disclosed your MDRT account or password information to an unauthorized third party.
Additional provisions regarding the services & your information
Transfer And Storage Of Your Information. Please note information MDRT collects about you may be transferred, processed and/or accessed by us in the United States, or another country where we, or our Service Providers operate. Please be aware Personal Data may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state or country where privacy laws may differ from and may not be as protective as those where you live. If you are located outside the United States and choose to allow us to collect information about you, please be aware that MDRT may transfer your Personal Data to the United States and process and store it there.
If you are in the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information to a country or jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, as disclosed in this Privacy Policy. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of Service Providers, as disclosed.

Despite MDRT’s safety and privacy controls, we cannot guarantee the Services are entirely free of illegal, offensive, pornographic, or otherwise inappropriate material, or that you will not encounter inappropriate or illegal conduct from other Users when using the Services. Your California privacy rights
Under California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (known as the “Shine the Light” law), MDRT members and customers who are residents of California may request certain information about our disclosure of personal information during the prior calendar year to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please write to us at the address below or at info@mdrt.org with “Request for California Privacy Information” on the subject line and in the body of your message. We will comply with your request within thirty (30) days or as otherwise required by statute. Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the “Shine the Light” requirements and only information on covered sharing will be included in our response.
Applicability & Eligibility
Applicability. This Policy applies only to the Services, and MDRT’s collection, use, disclosure, and protection of your data. It does not apply to third party websites, applications, or services.
Before accessing, using, or interacting with the Services you should carefully review the terms and conditions of this Policy.
Eligibility To Use the Services. The Services are not directed to children under the age of 16. You may not use the Services if you are under the age of 16.
User testimonials and feedback
We often receive testimonials and comments from users who have had positive experiences with our Services, and we occasionally publish them. We obtain the user’s consent prior to posting any feedback on a public area of the Site.
